I grew up playing all kinds of sports and I have a passion for helping people, so a progression into the health and fitness industry always seemed natural. I really enjoy watching my clients progress and achieve things they thought were impossible - there is no better thing in life than helping people to believe in themselves!
I have a real thirst for knowledge and like to keep up to date with the latest research in exercise science, psychology, and philosophy. This, coupled with 10 years of industry experience, allows me to create and tailor programs for my clients that align with findings at the forefront of the scientific literature, as opposed to 'flavour of the month' trends. I also love discussions about politics, religion, current events, parenting... Hearing others' opinions and examining my own beliefs alongside others' sits highly in my value system, so sessions with me won't ever get boring!
I also bring a wealth of knowledge from my time playing professional and semi-professional sport. I have played professional football in Europe and Asia, culminating in international representation for Iran's under 23's. I currently play semi-professional football in the NSW National Premier League. In 2015, I started a boxing and coaching career. I have had several fights and helped train the 2016 Novice Amateur Middle-Weight Champion.
